Sky bath tile is almost done...

The 3rd floor bathroom, the `sky bath' as we call it, was supposed to be the orchid room... But we like it so much we'll probably build a greenhouse for the orchids and take lots of showers up there....Our tile guy is amazing....Easily the hardest working sub-contractor we have hired. This weekend we'll put down the electric subtile heating mat, the final limestone pieces and grout it all into place....

guest room with color

So....for all of you just chomping on the bit to come visit...start shopping for pajamas that will look good in this guest room.......

color color color

Here is the living room color, it has a name, I can't remember what it is.....oak moss ? oak path? oakie from muskogee? it's a tree thing....

Almost Golden Arches

I'm not sure if the McDonald's legal team knows about this, but Dunn Edwards has a color called `Almost Golden'... So what do we have?? Almost golden arches!

Out of the gutter and into the cold..

Although the stucco guys completed their job a couple of weeks ago, some minor cracks developed in 3 areas and they have come back to patch them up..... Having the scaffold up for the stucco guys allowed our gutter guy to hang the final piece.... On Wednesday of this week the guys from Airsmiths installed the air conditioning condenser...If you're wondering if that is the American Standard Allegiance 14 Super Efficiency Condenser, you would be right! It is made in Texas in the same factory that Trane air conditioners are made at. http://www.americanstandardair.com/Products.asp?Section=homeOwners&ProductID=7&CategoryID=16&SuperCategoryID=1

We all need fiber

You've all heard of fiber optic cables, but have you actually seen one? Check out the pic below, the very small blue cable in the middle of the picture is a fiber cable that SureWest installed this week.....Through that little strand of glass we will get high definition television, 100 Mbps internet, and our telephone service....The SureWest guys were great to work with, highly recommended.... www.surewest.com
